Vici Park 21st Celebrations
In the eighties, two Rockhampton based clubs shared a dream to build a gymnastics facility to forge regional sportsman onto the national and international competitive scene in gymsports.
These clubs, Rockhampton Trampoline & Wandal Gymnastics merged and the Victoria Park Gymnastic & Trampoline Club Inc was born in 1987. Combining their best resources of enthusiastic and energetic committees, passionate coaches and committed gymnasts, the club flourished and the facility was officially opened in August 1988.
Vici Park hit the competitive scene and has never looked back achieving state & national representation in all three gymsports ~ WAG, MAG & TRP .
Thousands and thousands of children have enjoyed and benefited from their involvement in Vici Park gymsports, achieving personal best performances in recreation and competitive programs.
We invite you to celebrate the first twenty-one years on Friday evening, August 22 at Rockhampton Leagues Club. Take a tumble down memory lane and set your head spinning with several generations of gym & tramp members.
