Message from
the President’s desk
A couple of issues have been raised on a number of occasions lately, which I feel need attention.
1. Term fees
Invoices for term fees should be issued at the completion of a term. Payment will be adjusted to reflect a 10% lesson fee discount ONLY when paid in full within fourteen days of the commencement of the new term (this should be clearly indicated on the invoice in the due date box). Term lesson fees of less than 8 lessons will not attract this discount. Final payment of all term fees must be finalized by week 6. (04/06/11)
2. Missed lessons
As most of our programs work to maximum participation, missed lessons can not be recovered as make ups during the regularly scheduled lessons. Currently the “make up” lessons are offered in the school vacation. Vici Park’s current “refund policy” outlines eligibility for recovering missed lessons, available on our website www.vicipark.org.au
The lack of attendance in holiday training indicates that this method of recovering missed lessons isn’t working with families.
Weekdays are still not available, but we are now working on offering two Saturday “make up days” this term. - MAY 21 & JUNE 11 2pm. To be confirmed.
3. Communication
First point of communication - Club Office Administration.
In person, by phone, by email vicipark@cqnet.com,.au.
Coaches can not be accessed by parents during coaching time.. Changeover between lessons is also not recommended. Please allow the administrator to try to assist you first,, She will go further if necessary. Please be patient.
4. Spectators seating
Within the white chained area is considered the “training venue” and access is only available to coaches, participants and administrators. Spectators are welcome to observe training, but must adhere to our rule. WAG MAG RG TRP & GYMFUN Children must be able to assemble for lessons and participate independently taking directions from coaches.
Workplace Health & Safety ~ Gymnastics Queensland ~ Gymnastics Australia ALL recommend and expect this spectator free training venue to be adhered to.
Thanking you for your cooperation
