Vici Park 21st Celebrations Update!
Update: On Friday evening, 22 August Victoria Park will celebrate our 21st birthday with a fun filled evening at the Rockhampton Leagues Club. We'd love you to come along and enjoy the evening - hopefully to also meet some of the past members who had the dream to build our club to become the fabulous gym and tramp club that it is today!!
Tickets to Vici Park's 21st Celebrations dinner dance are now available from the club office. Tickets are $40.00 each, and include a 2 course dinner, live music compliments of "Hiplicated" and a good time to be had by all! Tickets may be purchased by credit card, eftpos, cash &/or cheque. A brief visual & audio presentation of Vici Park will be shown and a full bar facility will be operated.
Bookings are essential - please confirm and purchase your tickets at the club office so we can confirm with the caterers our function numbers!

Vici Park 21st Celebrations!
In the eighties, two Rockhampton based clubs shared a dream to build a gymnastics facility to forge regional sportsman onto the national and international competitive scene in gymsports.
These clubs, Rockhampton Trampoline & Wandal Gymnastics merged and the Victoria Park Gymnastic & Trampoline Club Inc was born in 1987. Combining their best resources of enthusiastic and energetic committees, passionate coaches and committed gymnasts, the club flourished and the facility was officially opened in August 1988.
We invite you to celebrate the first twenty-one years on Friday evening, August 22 at Rockhampton Leagues Club. Take a tumble down memory lane and set your head spinning with several generations of gym & tramp members.

State Age Championships Wrap Up
Seventeen gymnasts, seven coach/judges and fifteen supporters merged on Ormiston College for the 2008 State Age & Open Championships.
By all reports the event was enthusiastically attended by supporters, with many wearing club uniform and shaking their very popular maroon, pink & white pom poms.
Competitors were well serviced by our dedicated coaching and judging staff with great results in the competition. Congratulations to all our trampolinists on their preparation and performances last weekend.

Vici Park Suffers From Once In A Hundred Year Storm
In the early hours of Monday morning on 25 February 2008, Rockhampton experienced an extremely heavy tropical downpour. The weather station (Rockhampton airport) recorded 163mm rain in the period 3.19am – 5am, while the Bureau of Meteorology has recorded the event as greater than once in one hundred year storm event.
Our venue is situated in Hall Street Wandal. The drainage system for Hall Street discharges directly into the Fitzroy River. During the events of the storm, the storm rain exceeded the capacity of the stormwater drainage system, resulting in stormwater damage to our venue and its contents.
